The Biochemistry / Microbiology Undergraduate Advising Hub is seeking two motivated, caring individuals to join our undergraduate student services team as academic advisors.
The Biochemistry / Microbiology Undergraduate Advising Hub provides advising and associated student services for a diverse population of approximately 800 undergraduate students at UW-Madison, including declared Biochemistry and Microbiology majors, and those interested in the majors. The Hub is located within the Hector F. DeLuca Biochemical Sciences Complex.
Since the establishment of the Hub in January 2020, we have built a strong foundation to serve our students and departments. In the Hub, we take a collaborative approach to advising, student services, and decision making. We aim to strategically align our talents and skills to support students and meet the needs of the Hub and the Biochemistry and Microbiology majors. We welcome candidates who are excited to contribute their ideas and energy to the continued development of the Hub, our majors, and the students we serve.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) is committed to maintaining and growing a culture that embraces diversity, inclusion, and equity, believing that these values are foundational elements of our excellence and fundamental components of a positive and enriching learning and working environment for all students, faculty, and staff. In CALS, we acknowledge that bias, prejudice, racism and hate have historically occurred in many forms that cause significant and lasting harm to members of our community. We commit to taking actions each day toward a college that is inclusive and welcoming to all.
