I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Lambert Lab at the McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research, Department of Oncology, School of Medicine and Public Health. I was born and raised in the picturesque valley of Kashmir, where I completed my schooling and earned my PhD. I moved to Madison in 2022, where I currently work on understanding the molecular genetics of papillomavirus in the context of cutaneous and mucosal malignancies caused by these viruses. Outside of work, I enjoy playing cricket, biking, and exploring new places.
