I am a postdoc in the School of Veterinary Medicine, studying development and repair of the brain, with a focus on myelination and the contribution of neural stem cells. Originally, I’m from upstate New York, and finished by undergraduate work at the University at Buffalo, then complete graduate school at Wayne State University in Detroit prior to moving to Madison. In addition to research I enjoy finding hidden cocktail bars, cooking anything I think sounds interesting, relearning the trombone, and making sure my cats live better than I do. Also, I’m currently the Co-Chair of the Fundraising Committee for the National Postdoc Association.
