Hi! My name is Lindsey Felth Tanaka and I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Comparative Biosciences, housed in the School of Veterinary Medicine. My research focuses on gene x environment interactions of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Currently, I am working a project that explores how micronutrient supplementation can reduce the symptoms of Lower Urinary Tract dysfunction in a mouse model of autism.
Outside of lab, you can find me hanging out with my family- 18 month old boy, two Australian Shepards, and my husband. I love to get outside and stay active, cook yummy meals, and read a book with a fancy coffee. As the co-chair of the engagement committee, I’m committed to fostering sense of belonging and community among postdocs by increasing opportunities to meet other postdocs. Cheers!
