I am a third-year postdoc in the Mechanical Engineering Department’s Neuromuscular Biomechanics Lab and currently the co-chair of the UWPA Diversity and Inclusion Committee! My research interests are in understanding the mechanics driving how humans walk with a gait disorder, such as Cerebral Palsy. I did my undergrad in Biomedical Engineering at UC Davis and my PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Delaware. I am especially passionate about bringing women into STEM, especially through programs like The Perry Initiative. Outside the lab, I enjoy lifting weights, crafting, and watching indie movies (not usually at the same time).
