I am a fourth-year Postdoctoral Fellow in the Dept. of Cell and Regenerative Biology. My research is focused on understanding the regulation and maintenance of hematopoietic stem cells by the surrounding niche cells using zebrafish and mouse as model systems. I grew up in India where I completed my undergraduate studies. Then, I moved to the UK for my Master’s and to Germany for my Ph.D. I started my postdoc position at the University of Illinois at Chicago and moved to UW-Madison in March. Previously, I’ve served as a member of the UIC postdoc association and held several leadership positions. I look forward to continuing to serve the postdoc community at UW. In my free time, I like to travel, cook, and go on nature walks.
