Newly created scientist position within the UW network for highly qualified Ph.D. students and/or post-docs. This exciting new scientist position will be based in MilliporeSigma’s Bedford, Mass site working on Clean Meat cell line and media development.
At MilliporeSigma, the Scientist – Cell Biology will develop cell culture media, expansion protocols and cell differentiation approaches for the emerging ‘Clean Meat’ field. He/she will be responsible for leading, designing and executing media development projects for various food-relevant species. In addition to media development, this hands-on lab position will be responsible for developing cell culture and cell characterization protocols for new cell lines. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a broad group of technical and non-technical personnel, including both internal and external collaborators.
