Jeanette earned her PhD from the CMB program in 2012 and did postdoctoral work at the USGS National Wildlife Health Center before transitioning into the biotech industry. In her current role, Jeanette works to support operations through development and transfer of new protein purification processes, sustaining and troubleshooting of on-market products, and engineering solutions for scalable enzyme manufacturing. Jeanette is excited to share insights she has gained from working in a variety of sectors, including academia, government, and industry.

She will be giving a short presentation followed by a Q&A where you can ask him about her career path, job, and life after grad school. Pizza will be provided, and all grad students/post-docs/researchers interested in hearing about different career paths are welcome. We hope to see you there!
