The 3rd Annual UW–Madison Postdoctoral Research Symposium will be held Tuesday, September 18th at the Genetics-Biotech Center Auditorium. Organized during the National Postdoc Appreciation week, the symposium offers a venue for postdocs to share their work with others and foster new collaborations. This year the symposium will include a data scientist career panel, keynote speaker Ron Seely from the Department of Life Science Communication, and the return of the 5-minute Blitz Talk competition.
The Blitz Talk competition is open to postdocs from all disciplines. The winner will receive a grant for future conference travel. Blitz talk abstracts are due by 5pm on Friday, August 17th. Those selected will prepare a 5-minute research talk designed to engage a general audience. This is a great opportunity to share your work and hone communication skills. Submit abstracts here. Contact Clarisse van der Feltz (vanderfeltz@wisc.edu) with questions.
