I am a second year post doctoral researcher with a dual appointment in the Department of Biochemistry and the UW-Madison Cryo-Electron Microscopy Research Center (CEMRC). My research uses Cryo-Electron Tomography techniques to investigate the ultrastructure of eukaryotic cells. I earned my B.S. in Marine Science from Long Island University and my M.S. in Biology at California State University, Fullerton. I completed my Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am excited to serve as a member on the UWPA Diversity and Inclusion Committee. I also enjoy playing the piano, cooking, and taking care of my marine reef aquarium.
