Your well-being is important and essential for long-term health and success!
The mental, physical, and emotional well-being of graduate students and postdoctoral scholars is important for maintaining yourself through the rigors of research, school, social and family life. UW-Madison is a leader in researching how to promote well-being and disseminating that knowledge throughout the community. The UWPA and Office of Postdoctoral Studies want to help you maintain a healthy balance throughout your time as a postdoc, whether it’s through well-being seminars, information on meditation or yoga groups, talking over coffee, or any other way you find to reduce stress and increase your personal well-being. This page gives resources on and off campus, as well as tips other postdocs have found helpful, that might benefit you during your time at UW-Madison.
